![]() | All Things Bright and Beautiful(SP020) Level: Elementary Type: Music This is an easy arrangement of the well-loved children's hymn. The melody is a traditional English melody Royal Oak. While this beautiful melody has large leaps, I arranged it in 5-finger positions so that an early level student can play it. There are two sections where the left hand briefly moves, but most of the piece stays in Middle C position. There are eighth notes, but these can be taught by rote. When I used to teach in a church school the children loved this hymn. The words were written by Cecil Alexander in 1848 for her Sunday school classes. The entire hymn can be downloaded for use with your students, but if you want the cover art, you will have to email me.Download PDF document. |
