One of my pre-school beginning students plays T-Ball so I wrote this pre-reading piece for him. T-Ball is baseball for kindergarten children. The ball is placed on a stand and hit by the child instead of having a pitcher throw it.

Only 3 notes are used in this piece, C, D, and E. I use finger numbers 2, 3, and 4 so students will not become fixated with the RH thumb on middle C. Also, at this point he hasn't learned to play with his thumbs. Using only the three middle fingers will help his developing hand position.
